| What is it? |
A true symbol of home for many Spaniards, galletas 'Maria' are plain but sweet biscuits similar in character to the UK's 'Rich Tea' biscuits but slightly sweeter and with the addition of vanilla - the idea being that their plain style makes them great for dunking in tea or coffee. Maria biscuits are popular all over the world, but particularly in Spain where they have been manufactured by Cuetara for generations. Great for enjoying with your favourite hot drink (think Cola Cao), serving to babies and children or used as an ingredient in desserts, trifles, cakes and more.
