| What is it? |
Fuet is similar to Spanish salchichon (salami) but has a slightly sweeter, nuttier flavour and a moister, softer texture. Simply slice and serve with good bread. Please note that these products are artisan produced and are packed in inert gas rather than vacuum in order to maintain their quality and taste. It is normal to see a white build up on the outside of the sausage as is often seen on similar sausages in deli counters.
